Installing ONDUTEX Geotextile is fast and simple. The rolls are lightweight: you can transport, store and install them very easily. 
You will discover below how to install ONDUTEX to create pedestrian paving paths or gravel alleys. 
 

  • Tools needed to install ONDUTEX Geotextile: 
    - Rubber mallet
    - Cutter
    - Metre
    - Level
    - Shovel
    - Rake.
     
  • Installation of ONDUTEX Geotextile 
    Useful information: select the weight / m² depending on the usage and the surface of the path or the alley you want to build. The more important the weight / m² is, the more resistant the geotextile is. 
  • Creating pedestrian paving paths with ONDUTEX Geotextile 

    1. Start making a trench of 10 to 20 cm in the ground. Establish the depth according to the paving type you are installing. Level the ground and compact it.
    2. Unroll the geotextile on the soil.
    3. Spread a coat of sand of at least 5 cm over it.
    4. Firmly press in the cobblestones with the rubber mallet and align them so that they are flush with the soil. 

  • Creating gravel alleys with ONDUTEX Geotextile 
    1. Start making a trench of 10 in the ground. Establish the depth according to the paving type you are installing. Level the ground and compact it.
    2. Unroll the geotextile on the soil 
    3. Put a gravel layer that is at least 5 cm thick
